Sally is a multi award winning Equestrian artist, working in most media to
make her work, she exhibits widely in the UK and internationally.
She often makes sketches from life, capturing the movement of both
horse and rider with precise yet loose brush marks that give the viewer a
believable sense of strength and grace - from the elegance of a
dressage horse or a Spanish Riding school Lipizzaner to the formidable
power of a hunter.
About her work she says, “This is the part where I would usually struggle
to put into words, why I have spent years and years painting horses and
what it is that keeps me so engaged with this subject. So, it is with huge
