Kate Viner
Kate's creative practice focuses around shared human concerns. She is interested in women, conflict and religion. Using the arts to encourage my audiences to question, think, and be inspired. She creates for both the public, through public artworks commissioned by councils, and for commercial gallery’s, corporate clients, and charity’s.
In her studio she works with a diverse range of materials and processes. Modelled work is made in and clay and wax which is then cast into plaster, glass or metals including bronze and silver, fabricating metals in her studio including steel, stainless steel and copper, using welding soldering and brazing techniques. These are finished with different patinas'.
